Navy 06 first, then now Airforce 950. These guys better watch it because we have just started to cleanup after the 2006 episodes. This i think is beyond Demuren (NCAA) as they are not in the civil aviation category. But all the same another crash/incident is not what Nigeria needs now esp. coming from the forces.

    Three points here:
1.As always the NAF will not make the accident report public but I have the feeling that NAF pilots do not get enough flying time making safety a real issue. Flying ‘oga’ from point A to B is different from rescue operations.

2.When the F7s (microwaved over MiG 21s’) become operational, it would be essential to monitor its flying hours /accident rate as a new generation of pilots move from the subsonic L39s onto supersonic aircraft.

    3. Port Harcourt airport claims another victim? Probably the most accident prone of all Nigeria airports.
