Aero Starts Lagos-Uyo Flights In June 2010

Aero will commence daily flights between Lagos and Uyo (Akwa Ibom Airport) on the 1st of June, 2010. This is the schedule:

  • AJ151 – LOS 7:30 – UYO 8:45
  • AJ152 – UYO 9:15 – LOS 10:30

The airline also announced flights to Kano, starting in July.

    please can anyone tell me why the Akwa Ibom International Airport in okobo Oron, called Akwa Ibom International Airport Uyo? because this airport is not even near Uyo. is this another way of denying people of oron what the federal government gave them????????////

      The airport’s formal name is Akwa Ibom International Airport, it is located in Okobo, but airlines refer to it as Uyo Airport, because more travellers are familiar with this name. A common practice worldwide.

    I intend to travel in 3 months time. I’ll like to have a fair knowledge of what the fare will be like if I am to pay immediately. My route is Lagos to Uyo and I am travelling with one teenager, three children and one infant.
