    Nice. Kudos 2 d minister

  2. Sam says :

The slanted new roof looks very light and in no way permanent. I hope this is not the “remodeling” the Ministress is talking about. Construction quality looks very poor.

Sam, please give her a chance…

Give me a break..Sam is correct 100%. Those “roofs” are a joke. I’m an architect and can assure you that those “roofs” are in fact decorative shades, just corrugated metal filled with light weight concrete. No waterproofing, no cladding, so I definitely would concur with Sam. This “remodelling” exercise is really a gimmicky cosmetic exercise. I’ve seen the original perspectives. Some serious downgrade of specifications has occured here…to whose benefit? Whose pockets just got fatter? I am not accusing the Madame president, but merely reminding you that Nigerians have been asked to be patient…since independence. They have just about had it with unfullfilled promises and shabby, behind the scene deals, and unpublished public “contracts”. Nigeria needs good infrastructure, and not merely putting lipstick on a pig.
